Rudy Turner began playing when he was just thirteen years old.  He has performed with artist Candy Stanton, David Ruffin, Stevie Wonder, Clifford Jordan, Hank Crawford, Groove Holmes, Jack McDuff, Mary Wells and many more.
  He played on the boat Odyssey based in Washington D.C., for one year and has played throughout the Washington/ Baltimore area many years. He has performed at the Library of Congress and at the House of Representatives on many occasions. Not only does he have two CD's under his own label, he has recorded with Funk Inc., and is on five CD's with various artists produced at Mapleshade Studios.
This extraordinary musician can play eleven instruments; they are Drums, piano, bass foot pedals, xylophones, guitar, bass guitar, organ, twelve string guitar, congers, and acoustic and electric piano with bass pedals.
He performs Jazz, R&B, Country, Blues, Rock and Roll, Classical and Gospel.
